For all the territories they ask for conscience": Cueca Sola Collective and its struggle for memories (2013-2020)
Keywords:
Memory - Performance - Memory Marks - Deprivatization - Cueca SolaAbstract
This research studies the Colectivo Cueca Sola from its origins to its formation within a historical context of memorialization struggles and social mobilizations. The study focuses on why the Colectivo turns to cueca sola today to denounce contemporary violence and how the group works with memories. It is proposed that this group has re-signified the cueca sola from the political-social urgency, intervening different spaces with marks that de-privatize memories. Methodologically, individual and collective interviews were used, as well as the compilation of audiovisual and photographic records.
