The teacher struggle in Queretaro, Mexico, 1979-1989. From national coordination to the grassroots movement

From a historiographical perspective, we propose to give an account of the history of unionism in Mexico, in particular, from the perspective of the democratic and leftist teacher struggle in the state of Querétaro. Using different types of press, government documents and oral history, we reconstruct the movement of teachers to improve the conditions of their union between 1979 and 1989.
