The following article deals with the discussions and problems that afflicted Creole anarchism, as well as the doctrinal, organizational and unifying efforts deployed by its militants during the 1940s to avoid isolation, in a context characterized by the political and union advancement of the left-wing parties (the communist and
socialist) and their “state-centric” proposals for social transformation. Through the review of the anarchist press of the 1940s (La Protesta, Vida Nueva, Germen, Liberación, Tierra y Boletín Interno para los Militantes Confederales y Libertarios), this process is addressed, which was truncated by the dictation of the Cursed Law in 1948 and the persecution of the labor movement.
